Okay..
Mac merupakan Bulan Pemakanan Kebangsaan ( National Nutrition Month )..aku carik kat google translate tadi..huahua..

Kita tahu bahawa makan makanan yang hambar kuning ditemui pada jadual purata - sosej gulung, vol au bolong, scotch telur........................*pap!! eeh.aku tak faham lah ape yang kau tulis ni. Okay2..korang bace je la yang english ni,

We know that eating the bland yellow food found on your average buffet table – sausage rolls, vol au vents, scotch eggs, chicken goujons and quiche is not good for you which is why the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics are encouraging us to ‘Eat Right With Colour’ this month.  The purpose of the campaign is to focus on improving eating habits simply by filling your plate with a rainbow of colours.

  • RED: The bright, vibrant pomegranate has been proven to prevent a variety of chronic conditions such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s and some cancers.  If you don’t know what to do with the entire fruit, you can get many of the same benefits from drinking pomegranate juice or eating pomegranate seeds!

  • ORANGE: The bright and fully nutrient loaded sweet potatoes are a great filling food.  Packed with beta-carotene, copper, iron, potassium and fibre, this superfood looks great on any plate.

  • YELLOW: As a great source of potassium and electrolytes, bananas are a quick and easy go-to healthy snack (especially after a workout) that helps our bodies maintain normal nerve and muscle function.  Plus, they’re high in fibre, so it’s satisfying and filling all day long.

  • GREEN: On top of cancer fighting antioxidants, kale is high in vitamins and minerals to promote heart health and keep your weight in check with filling fibre.

  • BLUE/PURPLE: Just a handful of blueberries (or blackberries) packs enough potassium and vitamin C to make it a top choice of doctors and nutritionists.  These berries can lower the risk of heart disease and cancer, and help reduce inflammation which can lead to chronic diseases.
